my astrological soul

In the last blog, I introduced you to the components of what I call “Your Astrological Soul”.

Discovering and aligning to my Astrological Soul allowed me to understand the deeper lessons I am here to learn and how I can take them and help others as well as myself.

In this blog, I am going to show you how they play out in my life so that you can get a sense of how learning about yours might be just what you need.

Aligning to my Chiron

Chiron is in Taurus in the 8th House – this means that my core wound relates to death, power and other people’s money – with an underlying wound around security.

When I think about my core wound it is not just one event but a recurrence of traumatic events over time relating to different expressions of power – through anger and aggression of a parent, through sexual assault as a child by multiple people, through people attempting to control me with their money and through the thing I have absolutely no control over – the death of a loved one at a tender age.

My path to healing is through empowering myself against these expressions of power as well as supporting others to do the same by understanding their core wound and path to healing.

Ultimately my healing gift is the empowerment of self-knowledge and personal power.

My Sacred Healing technique is empowerment through astrology.

Aligning to my Uranus

My Uranus is in Scorpio in the 2nd House which means that I seek to rebel and experience freedom directly through my business – through using my skills and talents to create resources.

I like to earn money in a way that is not the norm and I can remember when I first started my business and I was teaching people how to create online products having to explain to people over and over what an e-Course was.

This placement can also indicate earning money from modern technology as well as the ancient art of astrology (which Uranus rules).

This is also the part of my life where I experience sudden and ups and downs financially and where I am also willing to take risks. But it is also an area where I need to plan for the inevitable downs – not just enjoy the ups.

My sacred rebellion expression is through Entrepreneurship.

Aligning to my Neptune

My Neptune is in Sagittarius in the 3rd House which means that I connect with the divine through the Search for Meaning through learning, writing, teaching, and speaking as well as through travel.

I also have the ability to pick up on the hidden nuances behind what people say and energetically pick up on how people are feeling. This is the placement of an empath which I absolutely resonate with.

Close to my IC line this also means that I can feel confusion and disillusionment relating to my family of origin and I can tend to what to escape or hide from them – in fact, me periodically leaving the family chat group because I need a break is a bit of a family joke! It’s my inner hermit at play! Communication with my family – especially my siblings – is particularly difficult for me because I have an idealised version of how we should all relate to each other and often feel disappointed or let down.

My sacred connection method is Learning.

Aligning to my Pluto

My Pluto is in Libra in the 1st House meaning that transformation is a core part of my identity and I seek to transform myself over and over.

This is the energy of the creator-destroyer or Kali-Ma goddess energy.

I am willing to make drastic changes to make room for growth (such as quitting a job, making changes in my business, or having weight loss surgery) and I’m likely to experience many dark nights of the soul.

Pluto in the 1st house in Libra can also reflect a fear of expression of anger – wanting any destruction or rebirth to be harmonious, not confrontational. I’ve certainly experienced this fear of anger and aggression because I never really saw it modeled appropriately as a child – so much so that I demonise it in myself. It becomes repressed and unexpressed which we all know is not an effective long-term strategy.

This can also manifest in a loner or hermit energy which I can totally relate to – I need A LOT of time alone and I tend to retreat when I am going through something. I also hide away a lot of myself from those closest to me.

However, because Pluto is in LIbra I will also consider the impact of my transformations on others.

My sacred transformation style is rebirth.

My Astrological Soul Summary

It is interesting that my Astrological Soul Planets each are in a sign representing one of the elements of Fire, Air, Earth, and Water.

Integrating your Astrological Soul

Integrating my Astrological Soul has:

//  allowed me to let go of my idealism and disappointment around my family (as seen through my Neptune)

// helped me to understand why I seem to experience traumatic experiences relating to power of all kinds (Chiron in the 8th)

// helped me to embrace my role to heal through empowering astrology techniques (Chiron in the 8th and Uranus in the 2nd)

// made clear why I sometimes need to burn it all down and start again (Pluto in the 1st)

// enabled me to find a way to do business that works with the ups and downs and ebbs and flows of my Uranus (Uranus in the 2nd in Scorpio)
