The year my nervous system became the CEO

I write a year-in-review post every year as a ritual of closure and a way to honour the work it actually took to get here.

2025 was not a year of clean forward motion. It was a year of endings, reckonings, and deep internal recalibration. My Uranus opposition came to a close, and with it came the unmistakable feeling that I had been reacting to life rather than directing it.

At its core, this was a year about rebuilding capacity and restoring trust in my nervous system.

Health became impossible to ignore. With Saturn, the North Node, and my progressed Moon all activating my 6th house, my body insisted on being listened to. I began the year in severe post-traumatic stress and burnout following the events of 2024. That was followed by a hospital stay for a sudden and serious infection in July, planned sinus surgery in September, and an ablation in November. Each experience asked me to slow down, simplify, and tend to the fundamentals of being in a body.

At the same time, our family was navigating my dad’s ongoing ill health, placing me firmly in the sandwich generation. Holding space for parents and children while trying to regulate your own nervous system is a quiet initiation no one really prepares you for.

One of the most unexpected turning points of the year was receiving my autism diagnosis. It was surprising… and also not. What it gave me was language, compassion, and permission. Compassion to forgive myself for years of self-judgement. Language to explain my needs to those closest to me. Permission to stop forcing my life, work, and rhythms into shapes they were never designed to fit. That single reframe quietly changed everything.

During an epic two-week trip to the UK, I received confirmation that my autism does not limit my capacity for meaningful connection. I simply need to be in the right rooms, with the right people, in environments that honour who I am. This was deeply healing.

2025 Business Round-Up

What I actually achieved

Before going any further, it matters to name what was built.

When I step back and look at 2025 in its entirety, I’m genuinely proud of what was created, delivered, and sustained alongside significant personal and health challenges.

Here’s what I actually achieved in my business this year:

  • Ran my Level 2 Business Astrology Certification
I delivered my advanced, year-long certification with a committed cohort of students, guiding them through professional-level business astrology and supporting them as they applied it with real clients.
  • Wrote 13 modules for Feminine Archetypes in Astrology
I created thirteen substantial modules for what is now one of the most expansive bodies of work I’ve ever developed. The course is halfway complete and represents a major intellectual and creative investment.
  • Rebranded my astrology-based branding course and created a certification
I fully rebranded this work into the Astrologically Aligned Brand Certification, including practitioner materials, a licensing framework, and a custom AI trained on my intellectual property. Watching practitioners confidently deliver this methodology to their own clients has been one of the most rewarding outcomes of the year.
  • Travelled internationally and spoke on major stages
I travelled to the UK, spoke at the Astrological Association Conference, and spent time in Glastonbury and other sacred locations. Professionally validating, personally restorative.
  • Almost sold out my Mastermind for 2026
I filled all but one place, laying a strong foundation for the year ahead.
  • Created and delivered new free workshops
expanding my reach while maintaining depth and integrity.
  • Grew my audience across Instagram and YouTube
Supported by increased Lives, Reels, and regular YouTube content.
  • Published consistent long-form content
Including 40 blogs and newsletters throughout the year, keeping my audience nurtured and engaged.
  • Built systems for sustainability, not just growth
Behind the scenes, I restructured programs, workflows, and support systems to better honour my energy, health, and neurodiversity.

This wasn’t a year of doing less. It was a year of doing what mattered.

The Energy of 2025

Numerology: Personal 9 Year

In 2025, I was in a Personal 9 Year. A cycle of completion, release, and clearing. Not about forcing beginnings, but about closing chapters cleanly.

This year asked me to let go of roles, expectations, and ways of working that once served me but were now costing too much. That clearing created space for my new 1 Year, which began at the end of November.

Just before that shift, I made significant changes to my Level 2 Certification and the way I run live programs, restructuring them to better support my nervous system and sustainable rhythms.

While some of this release was visible, much of the deeper work happened quietly in my relationships and personal life. Old patterns were released not through conflict, but through awareness and choice.

Astrological Transits

Astrologically, 2025 sat in a liminal space: after my Uranus opposition and before my Saturn opposition. Less upheaval. More integration.

The defining transit was Pluto square Venus.

This showed up as truth over masking.

An autism diagnosis isn’t caused by a transit, but Pluto transits strip away coping strategies rooted in suppression and performance. With Pluto in Aquarius squaring my natal Venus in Scorpio in the 1st house, it became impossible to keep performing “normal” when the cost to my nervous system was so high.

Pluto didn’t ask politely. It made it clear: This survival strategy once worked. It no longer does.

For many late-identified autistic women, masking is a Venus function: social harmony, relational attunement, smoothing edges. Pluto square Venus says: enough.

This transit reframed my identity through a neurodivergent lens. I found language for experiences I had previously internalised as “me being wrong.” With that language came relief, clarity, and liberation.

Pluto didn’t dismantle me. It aligned me with my truth.

My 2025 Theme Word: Create

After an incredibly hard 2024, I felt a deep pull to return to creation itself. Not strategy. Not growth. Creation as joy, curiosity, and expression.

In a 9 Year, this reconnection mattered. It helped me discern what to release and what to carry forward.

This was echoed clearly in my Business Solar Return, with the Sun conjunct Mercury and Jupiter in Gemini in the 5th house. Creation, teaching, storytelling, and play were the medicine, not the output.

Create wasn’t about productivity. It was about creating space to create.

Space to write. To teach. To develop the Asteroid Goddesses course. To continue my book. To craft a flagship conference talk. To create peace at home in support of my daughter’s recovery. To create soul-aligned connection.

I didn’t create every outcome I had imagined. But I created exactly what I needed.

Big Lessons from 2025

  • The body keeps the score. Stress always catches up eventually.
  • Some years are about maintaining, not expanding.
  • It’s okay to be me. Working with my autism changed everything.
  • Aligned community matters. Support is not optional.
  • Goals don’t always arrive on your timeline. And that doesn’t diminish their value.

Business Success Secrets in 2025

This year reaffirmed that success doesn’t always look like rapid expansion. Sometimes it looks like refinement, consistency, and integrity.

Key strategies that made the biggest difference:

  • Regular webinars and free training
  • A deeply targeted Mastermind launch
  • Consistent long-form content
  • Realistic, astrology-aligned planning
  • Ethical use of AI to support (not replace) human expertise
  • Sustainable self-leadership
  • Depth over noise
  • Neurodivergent-informed business design
  • Relationship-led growth
  • Playing the long game and letting quiet wins count

Biggest Challenges

  • Living with the fear of my daughter’s relapse
  • Health disruptions and capacity limits
  • Navigating the sandwich generation
  • Cash-flow volatility in a launch-based business
  • Visibility and social anxiety
  • Building trust in a cautious, post-COVID economy
  • Navigating noise and attention fatigue
  • The rise of AI in astrology and staying relevant with integrity

These challenges didn’t stall my business. They shaped how I moved through the year.

What’s Next?

This annual reflection isn’t about self-congratulation. It’s a grounding ritual. One that brings me back into truth and gratitude for what has actually been carried and created.

And that’s my invitation to you. Try this practice for yourself. Write it all down. Let yourself truly see what you’ve lived, learned, and built.

This brings my 2025 reflection to a close. In my next blog, I’ll be sharing what’s ahead for 2026 and the meaningful shifts unfolding in how I work.

From my family to yours, Happy New Year.
May the year ahead meet you with steadiness, clarity, and supportive growth.

And so it is.
