Venus Retrogrades from March 2nd-April 13th from 10’50 Aries to 24’37 degrees Pisces.
Firstly, what is a retrograde?
A retrograde occurs when a planet appears to move backward in the sky. This optical illusion is caused by the differences in the planets’ orbits, and while all major planets (excluding the Sun and Moon) go retrograde at different times, each retrograde period brings unique energies and lessons.
When a planet goes retrograde, its influence changes, and the kinds of activities that align with its energy shift as well.

What is a Venus Retrograde all about?
Venus is the planet of love, money, beauty, and receptivity. It rules both Libra and Taurus and governs the 2nd and 7th Houses in business astrology, which relate to values, finances and cash flow, core talents, relationships, and partnerships.
In business astrology, Venus represents our business’s magnetism, cash flow, and ability to attract clients and customers. Generally, Venus is considered a harmonious planet. However, during its retrograde, it tends to disrupt business cash flow and the process of attracting new clients.
So when Venus goes retrograde this heralds a time for focus on existing client relationships and money streams rather than creating or trying to attract new ones.
Venus retrograde marks a period when we should shift our focus away from attracting new clients or launching new offerings and instead turn inward. This is a time to nurture existing client relationships and evaluate current revenue streams. Cash flow might feel stagnant, but that’s a cue to focus on what you already have rather than pushing for new growth.
For those born with Venus retrograde in their natal charts, however, this period can feel different. You might actually find Venus retrograde to be a time of heightened magnetism and financial abundance, as its energy works in alignment with your unique business blueprint. If you were born under a Venus retrograde, this can be a productive and successful time for you.
For the rest of us, Venus retrograde invites us to revisit and re-engage with past clients and leads. It’s a great opportunity to remind them of your services, offer customized offerings, or reignite relationships that may have cooled.
While Venus retrograde may not be the ideal time to create new offerings or aggressively attract new clients, we don’t always have the luxury of avoiding these activities. Still, if possible, focus on deepening relationships and refining your existing offerings. By tending to your “own soil,” you create a more fertile foundation for when Venus goes direct and allows you to move forward with greater magnetism and receptivity.
By the time Venus turns direct, if you’ve dedicated time to nurturing and strengthening the relationships and cash flow that already exist within your business, you’ll find yourself more magnetic and ready to take your business to the next level. Venus retrograde isn’t just about stagnation; it’s about reworking what you have to create something that is even more aligned and abundant when the retrograde ends.
Venus Retrograde in Aries:
When Venus retrogrades through Aries it may bring up old conflicts or unresolved issues around asserting your needs and desires within your business. This is an opportunity to rework any areas of your business where you may have been too aggressive, too passive, or too self-focused in your interactions with clients or collaborators. Instead, find the balance between honoring your independence and working harmoniously with others.
For your business, this could be a time to refine your entrepreneurial vision, particularly around how you position yourself as a leader in your industry. While Venus retrograde isn’t the best time to launch something new, it’s a great opportunity to look back at what you’ve already created, refine it, and set the foundation for future success with a clearer, more authentic direction.
Venus Retrograde in Pisces
Pisces, a mutable water sign, brings a more introspective, fluid, and imaginative energy to Venus retrograde. When Venus retrogrades through Pisces, it’s a time to slow down and reassess your connection to your creative and spiritual business practices. This transit asks you to reflect on how you integrate your intuition, dreams, and artistic vision into your work.
If you’ve been neglecting the more imaginative or soul-centered aspects of your business, this period offers an opportunity to return to those elements. Perhaps it’s time to revisit a creative project that was left unfinished or to connect more deeply with your inner guidance on how to shape your business for the future.
Venus retrograde in Pisces can also encourage you to revisit old collaborations or partnerships that were once deeply meaningful but may have lost momentum. Whether it’s an opportunity to reconnect with an old business partner or revive a collaborative project, this period is about reflecting on the emotional and spiritual connections that have supported your business and ensuring they are in alignment with your current path.

What might the position of Venus Retrograde in 2025 mean for you?
In which part of your business should you till your own soil?

In my business chart, Venus retrogrades from my 8th house back into my 7th house, crossing over my business South Node in the 8th house. This transit feels like a powerful reminder to focus on the relationships and collaborations I’ve already cultivated, particularly my ongoing publishing partnership with Hay House. As I continue to refine my book proposal for resubmission, Venus retrograde encourages me to trust in the solid foundation I’ve built within my business and to honor the existing partnerships that have supported my journey so far.
The 7th house governs relationships, partnerships, and how we engage with others, while the 8th house relates to deep transformations and shared resources. Venus moving through this part of my business suggests a time to reflect on the collaborative efforts that have already borne fruit and to revisit and strengthen them, rather than seeking new external opportunities. This is an invitation to lean into the wisdom of past connections, nurturing what has already been established, rather than pushing forward into new ventures.
This period of Venus retrograde offers me the chance to refine, realign, and deepen the existing relationships that are core to my business’s growth. It’s a time to trust in the partnerships that have already proven themselves, like my relationship with Hay House, and to remember that growth often comes not from seeking new things but from nurturing what is already in motion.
